Today I’m joining in Happy Little Stampers Blog Hop showcasing one of their newest stamp sets Christmas Joy. For this card, I decided to make a simple design that I could duplicate easily. I’ve been busy making cards for the Caring Heart Drive and now I’m going to make some cards for the local nursing home that I take lip balms, lotion, socks and stuffed animals to each year.
For this card, I started off with the standard A2 base in SU Mossy Meadow and then added a 4″ X 5 1/4″ Real red base that I embossed. I then used my new stitched die from Stampin up to cut my circle. I then stamped my poinsetta with SU Black Archival ink. Once my ink had drived I used my Copic Lipstick Red to color in the poinsetta and my Spectrum Noir and Copic to color in the leaves. I added a little Metallic Green thread behind my image and used my clear Wink of Stella to give the poinsetta a little sparkle.

It’s that time again, another Wonderful Challenge over at Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies. For this month, I decided to use the Stampin’ Up! Jar of Love Stamp set and dies. I started off by choosing my color scheme. I went with Mint Macaroon and Watermelon Wonder. I started off by using a stencil for background. I sponged it with both of the colors (Mint Macaroon/ Watermelon Wonder) and then started adding my layers. I stamped the jar and (3) flowers then added my sentiment (Thanks). After stamping, I then used my jar and flowers dies to cut them out. Once finished with this portion, I carefully figured out where my jar would be and started stamping the branches. I added dimensionals to the back of the jar to make it pop up and then added the pearls to the flower centers. I also, cut a piece of Watermelon Wonder ribbon for the bow on top of the jar.

I’m getting ready for a little fall weather. For me fall, is just a little cooler as it doesn’t really get to cold where I live. Would just love to be in the 70’s honestly. For this card, I wanted to use the sketch from Sunday Stamps SSC136 and I really wanted to use some pretty fall colors which I found with a package of leaves that I had in my stash.
Please leave comments. I love to hear what you think about my cards and/or projects. Thanks for visiting!

This card is just a great card to tell someone how Grateful, Thankful and Blessed that you are to have them in your life. When life’s moments come your way, most of us realized that we feel this way. My mom had a TIA, two weeks ago and I’ll tell you everything flashed before me. My mom is pretty young (at least I think so) and I didn’t expect anything like this to happen. My mom is doing well, in fact in just hours after she was doing fine. It was just quick and short but really made me think about how grateful, thankful and blessed I am to have her in my life.

I just love the beauty of fall leaves. For this card, I decided to use a wonderful stamp set called Vintage Leaves. I’ve seen many cards made with it but wanted to do something a little different. I stamped the 2 large leaves on each corner with Chocolate Chip, then added the lighter leaves with Crumb Cake and finally the two smaller leaves with Soft Suede. After stamping the leaves, I added my Happy Birthday Sentiment in the middle of the images. Once put together I thought to myself, I’d love to add dimension to this card so I stamped the 2 leaves in the corner and fussy cut around them to add them to the front of my card. I just love the way the leaves look on this card. I’m looking forward to the fall season and cooler weather that comes with it (hopefully, lol)
I’m entering this card into Penny’s Paper-Crafty Challenge Anything Goes. Please leave me a comment. I love to hear from other crafters.

It’s a new month over at Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies and I’ve decided to use some new dies that I bought just recently. This set is called Rose Wonder and it had coordinating dies called Rose Garden Thinlits. I decided to start off by using another stamp set called Work of Art to stamp behind my Rose with Crush Curry. I then used my thinlet leaf die to watercolor the leaves with Wild Wasabi. I added a little crumb cake dots from my Gorgeous grudge set and then layered my die cuts over the areas in which I had added the color. For my sentiment, I decided to stamp with versa mark and then emboss the sentiment with gold. I also decided to add just a piece of washi tape to add a little more to the card.
Be sure to join in the fun and enter your cards or projects that use dies. You could win a $15 gift certificate from Happy Little Stampers.
